About the Movie

The 8th Pokemon movie will be starring Mew and Lucario. Mew also starred in the first Pokemon movie along with Mewtwo in Pokemon: The First Movie. The Japanese movie title translates into "Mew and the Wave Guiding Hero."

New Pokemon - Lucario

A new Pokemon, Lucario, will make it's debut in the movie.

Movie Features on Nintendo DS - (Japan Only)

"You just need to bring the DS and one of the Pokemon software for Game Boy Advance and you'll be downloading some unique Pokemon data while you watch the movie," Satoru Iwata said, who is President of Nintendo. Nintendo DS is compatible with all GBA games, just to clarify what Iwata said there.
